Which include an additional layer of puncture resistant material running around the tyre which will help reduce the incidence of punctures. Additionally, we’ve upgraded the tyres on all Carrera road bikes to a wider 28c width which not only gives extra grip but will run at lower pressures and give a smoother overall ride. Efficient Modern Gears With the help of a 16-speed Shimano Claris gear set featuring a compact 50/34t chainset the 2 extra gears over the Zelos give that bit more range for variable terrain.
