This 50mm disc version weights just 1468g per pair (±20g). It is ideal not only for aero road bikes but also for riders who want to get faster on flats and hilly terrain. The formula is simple: The deeper rims = the more aero = the faster ride. These wheels were assembled and trued by our skilled wheel builders. No adjustments are needed. Just take them out of the box, put the tires on, and start riding. Speaking of tires, we recommend a tire size of 25 or 28mm to maximize the aero benefits. However, the rims can accommodate up to 40mm tires. We used high-quality Toray T700 & T800 carbon fiber and layered it in a way that ensures high stiffness and great longevity. The heart of these wheels consists of our in-house designed hubs (Novatec hubs) with sealed bearings that connect Sapim CX-Ray spokes with the rim. This combination provides great stiffness.
